On Thursday, June 5, 1930 at Playgrounds Stadium in West New York, New Jersey future heavyweight champion Jimmy Braddock fought Harold Mays. Braddock struggling through one of the lowest points of his career lost a ten round decision to Mays. Offered here is rare, full, unused ticket to this event.
This is an original, full, unused ticket. Clor has washed out a bit, but the print remains strong. Stub firmly attached. Ornate back. Generally clean with minor spotting at lower left corner. Has two mild creases. Minor edge and corner wear. 2 3/4" x 7 1/8." The only example we have seen.
