Ernest Brady and Jack Maloney were British light flyweights who fought four times in the mid 1890's with the British title at stake. Maloney won the first two matches with Brady winning the final two. On June 8, 1896 Brady won by disqualification in round seven to claim the britis 104 pound title. Offered here is a very rare boxing silk for this match.
This beautiful boxing silk names the fighters at the center. Has roses in the corners which are flanked on the perimeter by a pink and bluish green border. Color is bold against the silk fabric. Has original folds. No tears. Minor spotting. Approximately 33" x 33." Exceedingly rare.
