Tommy Burns was born on June 17, 1881 in Chesley, Ontario, Canada. He defeated Marvin Hart on February 23, 1906 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He eventually lost the title to Jack Johnson on December 26, 1908. He retired after losing to Joe Beckett on July 16, 1920 with a final record of 46-5-9 with 37 KO's. Presented here is a promotional photo of Tommy Burns which he has signed and inscribed on both the front and back.
