On October 12, 1931 at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, New York future world heavyweight champions Primo Carnera and Jack Sharkey met in a non title fight. Sharkey won a unanimous 15 round decision. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts the two fighters weighing in for the fight.
