On December 13, 1911 in Paris, France light heavyweights Georges Carpentier and American Harry Lewis squared off in an important match. Carpentier won a 20 round decision. Presented here is an extremely rare on site poster from this event.
This beautiful poster pictures both fighters. The poster is paper and has been professionally linen backed. There is a light water stain at the top. Generally clean. Bold color. Beautiful images of both fighters. Quite rare, the only example we have seen. 23 1/2" x 31."
