On May 31, 1924 at Floyd Fitzsimmons Arena at Michigan City, Indiana light heavyweights Tommy Gibbons and Georges Carpentier met in the main event. Gibbons won a ten round decision. Carpentier was in bad shape at the end and was clearly outboxed. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event.
This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Stubs attached, but one is reinforced with tape on the back. Some back damage from mounting. Minor soiling. Crease in lower right corner. 2 3/4" x 7."
