On April 20, 1965 at Royal Albert Hall in London, England middleweights Rubin "Hurricane" Carter and Harry Scott battled in the main event. Scott prevailed winning a ten round decision. Scott was knocked down for a five count in the 1st round, but arose to get the win. The fight was scheduled originally for April 13th, but was delayed by weather until April 20th. Offered here is avery scarce on site poster to this event.
This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which pictures both fighters and some of the undercard fighters. Has been affixed to black working paper. Bold color and sharp images. Poster has some creasing and two small tears by the top holes for the hanging string. Light tape stains in two corners. Minor soiling. 13 3/4" x 21."
