CLAY, CASSIUS-SONNY LISTON I FULL RADIO TICKET (1964)

On February 25, 1964 Cassius Clay fought Sonny Liston for the World Heavyweight Title. Clay won the title from Liston after Liston retired in the 7th round citing an injured shoulder. After this fight Clay changed his name to Muhammad X and then Muhammad Ali. It was the Ring Magazine 1964 Fight of the Year. Offered here is an original full ticket to hear the radio returns for the fight.
This is an original, full ticket which names the fighters and has a row and seat number. Bold color and print. Mild center crease. Paper residue on back from mounting. Minor edge and corner wear. Generally clean. 2 3/4" x 7 1/4."
