HISTORY: Leach Cross was born on February 12, 1886 in New York City, New York. He was a lightweight contender in the early 1900's. He fought K.O. Brown, Ad Wolgast, and Packey McFarland among others.Leach later became a surgeon dentist after his boxing career. Presented here is a hand written letter to a friend regarding his boxing career dated 1947 on his dentist stationary.
