DEMPSEY, JACK & GENE TUNNEY SIGNED POSTCARD

Jack Dempsey was born on June 24, 1895 in Manassa, Colorado. He defeated Jess Willard on July 4, 1919 to win the World Heavyweight Title and held the title until September 23, 1926 when he lost to Gene Tunney. Dempsey announced his retirement in February of 1928 with a final record of 64-6-9 with 49 KO's. Presented here is a signed postcard by Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney.
Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney have both boldly signed this 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" postcard in blue ink. The postcard pictures Jack Dempsey's Hotel Great Northern in New York City. The corners have all been creased and there is additional creasing along the right edge. No rips or tears. Clean signatures.
