HISTORY: Steve Dudas was born in Edgewater, New jersey on July 2, 1913. He began his fighting career as a heavyweight on July 31, 1933 with a knockout win over Sonny Mays. In his career he fought Max Schmeling, Bob Paster, Red Burman, Tami Mauriello and Jersey Joe Walcott. He retired after being stopped by Walcott on October 23, 1945 with a final record of 58-25-2. He passed away in 1999. Presented here is an album page signed and inscribed in ink by Steve Dudas. From the collection of former Boxing Illustrated writer Ralph Pollack who had the album page signed by Steve Dudas in the mid 1940's at Stillman's Gym in New York City.
