HISTORY: On June 15, 1976 at the Nassau Coliseum in Hempstead, New York former heavyweight champions Joe Frazier and George Foreman met in the main event with the NABF Heavyweight Title at stake. Foreman had knocked Frazier out in their earlier meeting to win the heavyweight title. In this second fight the action went much the same as the first. Frazier was knocked down twice in the 5th round before referee Harold Valan waved off the action awarding Foreman the victory by TKO. Offered here is an original Press Credential to this event which belonged to Jerry Green of the Detroit News.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original press credential which names the recipient and whch has a section, row and seat number. Original wrist string still attached. Stub firmly attached. Clean front and back. Ink notations on reverse. No creases or tears. Bold color and print. Quite scarce. 2" x 4 3/8."
