GALENTO, TONY SIGNED PHOTO

Tony Galento was born on March 12, 1910 in Orange, New Jersey. He fought Joe Louis for the World Heavyweight Title on June 28, 1939 but was not victorious. He retired after fighting Herbie Katz on June 1, 1943 with a final record of 75-26-5 with 53 KO's. Presented here is a signed photo.
Tony Galento has boldly signed this 5" x 8 1/4" photo in black ink. He has inscribed it, "Best Wishes Tony Galento." There is a rip at the top and the upper right corner is slightly creased. Clean signature.
