GREEn, GEORGE (YOUNG CORBETT) POLICE GAZETTE SUPPLEMENT (1898)

George Green, The Original Young Corbett, was born on January 6, 1872 in San Francisco. He fought as a welterweight during the 1890's. During his career he fought Mysterious Billy Smith, Joe Walcott, and Dan Creedon among others. Presented here is a Police Gazette Supplement of George Green.
This Police Gazette Supplement of George Green is 10 1/2" x 15." There are three horizontal creases from where it was folded. There are small rips along the bottom edge and there is some light soiling along the edges. The corners are slightly soft.
