JEFFRIES, JIM SHEET MUSIC JIM-A-DA-JEFF (1909)

HISTORY: James J. Jeffries was born on April 15, 1875 in Carroll, Ohio. He won the World Heavyweight Title on June 9, 1899 from Bob Fitzsimmons. He retired initially in 1905, but came out of retirement to fight then champion Jack Johnson in 1910. After losing to Jack Johnson on July 4, 1910, his only loss, with a final record of 18-1-2 with 15 KO's. Offered here is original sheet music prepared in 1909 saluting Jim Jeffries as he prepared to meet Jack Johnson.
