HISTORY: On July 4, 1910 in Reno, Nevada heavyweight champion Jack Johnson defended his title against former champion James J. Jeffries. This was a widely anticipated bout. Johnson completely outclassed Jeffries and stopped him in defense of his crown. Offered here is a rare, souvenir, real photo postcard depicting Jack Johnson and Al Kaufman sparring in June, 1910 as Johnson prepared for his upcoming fight with James Jeffries.
