On March 31, 1980 Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes defended his title against LeRoy Jones at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Holmes stopped Jones in 8 rounds. Presented here is a souvenir pin from this fight of challenger LeRoy Jones.
This souvenir pin pictures challenger LeRoy Jones. "The Unconquered," Jones was undefeated going in, but not coming out. The pin itself is perfectly affixed. Some minor surface wear and light foxing on the edges. 4" in diameter. A rare pin, the only example I have seen.
