LEWIS, LENNOX-ZELJKO MAVRVIC ON SITE POSTER (1998)

On September 26,1998 at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut Lennox Lewis fought Zeljko Mavrovic for the Heavyweight Title. Lewis won a decision in 12 rounds in defense of his title. Mavrovic was ranked No. 1 by the WBC. There was a crowd of about 4,000 in the outdoor pavilion at Mohegan Sun. Lewis landed 216 of 507 punches, while Mavrovic connected on 132 of 298. This was Mavrovic's last fight. He retired due to health issues. Presented here is an original, on site poster for this event.
