LOUIS, JOE-AL ETTORE WORKING PRESS PASS (1936)

On September 22, 1936 at Municipal Stadium in Philadelphia rising heavyweight star Joe Louis fought local favorite Al Ettore in the main event. Louis knocked Ettore out in the 5th round. Ettore was down for counts of "3" and "9" in the fourth round, before being felled for the full count by left hooks. Offered here is an original, Working Press pass for this event.
This is an original Working Press Pass which names the fighters, date and venue. Hole at top for wrist string. Bold color and print. Torn at the bottom. Used by noted cartoonist Willard Mullin and has his name on the back. Irregularly shaped to 2 3/4" 3 1/4."
