LOUIS, JOE-BILLY CONN I WIRE PHOTO (1941)

Joe Louis fought Billy Conn on June 18, 1941 in New York City. Louis knocked Conn out in the 13th round to retain his World Heavyweight Title. Presented here is an antique photo from this bout.
This antique photo from the first Louis-Conn bout is 7" x 9." The corners are slightly soft and there are small creases along the bottom edge. There is a small rip along the left edge and there is some light soiling along the bottom edge. There are marks on the photo from where it was used in print.
