MONZON, CARLOS-NINO BENVENUTI ORIGINAL ON SITE POSTER (1971)

On May 8, 1971 at Stade Louis II in Monte Carlo, Monaco middleweight champion Carlos Monzon defended his title against former champion Nino Benvenuti. Monzon dominated and stopped Benvenuti in the 3rd round. Benvenuti's manager throws in towel. Benvenuti was knocked down once in the 2nd and again in the 3rd. The towel was thrown in after he rose from the 2nd knockdown. Offered here is a very rare original, on site poster from this event.
