OLIVARES, RUBEN-WON CHUN KANG ON SITE POSTER (1969)

On March 17, 1969 at the Forum in Inglewood, California Ruben Olivares was scheduled to fight Won Chun Kang in an important bantamweight battle. Kang was replaced at the lats minute by Ernie Cruz. Olivares stopped Cruz in the 9th round. Olivares was knocked down in the 2nd round. Cruz was knocked down four times before the fight was stopped. Offered here is an original on site poster for the originally scheduled show.
This on site poster is cardboard picturing the fighters. Minor corner crease at lower right. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. No tack holes. Clean front and back. Minor edge and corner wear. 14" x 22."
