ORTIZ, CARLOS-BATTLING TORRES & JOSE BECERRA-ALPHONSE HALIMI SOUVENIR PENNANT (1960)

Jose Becerra fought Alphonse Halimi on February 4, 1960 at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. Becerra knocked out Halimi in the 9th round to successfully retain his World Bantamweight Title. Also on this show world light welterweight champion Carlos Ortiz successfully defended his title knocking out tough Battling Torres in the 10th round. Presented here is a very rare, original, souvenir pennant from this event.
This is an original, felt, souvenir pennant which names the fighters and pictures the venue. Bold color and print/ Tails are present and intact. End has been snipped. Clean with mild creasing. 30" long including tail.
