Phil Palmer was a Canadian welterweight from Vancouver, British Columbia who fought between 1939 and 1950 amassing a final record of 55-22-7. He fought some important contenders in the division including Joey Peralta, Lenny "Boom Boom" Mancini, Vince Foster and Tony Marteliano. Offered here is an ink signed album page by Phil Palmer. From the collection of former Boxing Illustrated writer Ralph Pollack who had the album page signed by Phil Palmer on November 16, 1945 at Stillman's Gym in New York City while he was preparing for his upcoming fight in January, 1946 with Rudy Campa in Brooklyn .
