QUARLES, NORMENT SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH

Norment Quarles was an American lightweight born in North Carolina in 1914. He fought from 1934 until 1941 and posted a respectable record of 70-44-5. Both a fighter and an attorney, Quarles fought a virtual who's who of champions in his career including Chalky Wright, Bob Montgomery, Pedro Montanez, Lou Ambers, Freddie Cochrane, Jackie Wilson, Midget Wolgast and Sammy Angott.
