HISTORY: On February 25, 1955 at Madison Square Garden in New York world featherweight champion Sandy Saddler defended his title against Teddy "Red Top" Davis in the main event. Saddler prevailed winning a unanimous 15 round decision. "A dull and drab and dirty affair.Saddler won-won as he pleased and it pleased him to cuff and belabor Davis and put him to rout in a bout that through the early rounds looked fairly even." (The Ring, May 1955, page 24). Offered here is a rare, original, on site poster for this event.
