SCHMELING, MAX-HARRY THOMAS WIRE PHOTO (1937)

On December 13, 1937 at Madison Square garden in New York heavyweight contenders Max Schmeling and Harry Thomas squared off in a scheduled 15 round fight. Schmeling continued his rise in the division with an 8th round stoppage of Thomas. Presented here is an original wirephoto from this fight.
This original wirephoto from the Schmeling-Thomas bout is 7 3/4" x 13." The corners are slightly soft and there is a crease in the lower right side. Generally clean with no rips or tears.
