On September 3, 1955 at Rand Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa Willie Tweel and Robert Cohen fought for the world bantamweight title. After 15 rounds the fight was declared a draw. Toweel was floored four times in this bout--he was knocked down three times in the second round, twice for counts of three, and once for a no count. Toweel was floored once more for a short count in the tenth round. Offered here is a rare, large, stubless ticket to this event.
This large, original, stubless ticket pictures both fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Printed on paper. Several creases and one small border tear with no paper loss. Clean front and back. 6 1/8" x 6 1/2."
