JO Sports Inc.

Regular price $250,000.00

HISTORY:

HISTORY: Muhammad Ali fought George Foreman on October 30, 1974 in Kinshasa, Zaire. Given little chance, Ali knocked Foreman out in the 8th round to win the World Heavyweight Title for the second time. Ali employed a "rope-adope" strategy of covering up on the ropes and letting Foreman hit him until he tired. The strategy worked as an exhausted Foreman could not rise after being hit in the 8th round.

Offered here is a beautiful beaded belt which was given to Muhammad Ali by President Mobutu of Zaire when Ali and his trainer Angelo Dundee deboarded the airplane upon arrival in Zaire for this fight. Ali gave the belt to Angelo Dundee who has supplied his letter.

Ali gave the belt to Angelo Dundee who has supplied his letter of provenance. This belt is beaded on leather and has the lettering MOHAMMAD ALI KLAY. The belt is skillfully designed and crafted in what would have taken numerous hours to perfect. Has clasps at each end. The belt is clean and has no flaws. 32 inches long.
