On January 2, 1957 World Middleweight Champion Sugar Ray Robinson defended his title at Madison Square Garden in New York. The younger, and strong and rugged Fullmer proved too much for Sugar Ray and won a 15 round decision and the title. Presented here is an antique photo of the two fighters signing contracts for this bout. (BE)
This antique photo of Sugar Ray Robinson and Gene Fullmer is 7" x 9." The corners are slightly soft and there are small creases in the upper right corner and along the top edge. Clean image with no rips or tears.
