TYSON, MIKE-EVANDER HOLYFIELD SOUVENIR PAPERWEIGHT (1991-POSTPONED FIGHT)

On November 8, 1991 heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield was scheduled to fight Mike Tyson at caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The fight was postponed and ultimately cancelled due to the July, 1991 arrest and subsequent conviction of Mike Tyson on charges of rape. Offered here is a souvenir paperweight advertising the postponed fight.
These are a pair of metal boxing gloves with the names of the fighters, venue and date across each backhand. The gloves are clean with no scratches and no pitting. The only example we have seen. 1/2" x 5/8."
