JOHNSON, HAROLD-JESSE BOWDRY WIRE PHOTO (1961-9TH ROUND)

On February 7, 1961 at Convention Center in the Miami Beach, Florida light heavyweights Harold Johnson and Jesse Bowdry fought for the vacant light heavyweight crown. Johnson prevailed stopping Bowdry in the 9th round. Bowdry was down four times in the bout. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting final round action.
