HISTORY: On September 20, 1939 at Briggs Stadium in Detroit heavyweight champion Joe Louis defended his title against Bob Pastor. In this their second meeting Louis knocked Pastor out in the 11th round in defense of his title. Pastor was down four times in round one and once in round two. Offered here is an original poster advertising the showing of the fight film for this bout.
