The fighters he battled included: Young Corbett II, Terry McGovern, Willie Lewis, Harry Lewis, Willie Fitzgerald, and Kid Williams. FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, first generation, mounted photograph of Jimmy Briggs in full fight pose. Photographer stamp on lower mount for Raymond of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Bold, clear image. Name and weight written on mount. Tack hole at top center of mount. Staining to mount not affecting the photo. Not creased or torn. Corner wear. 5 1/4" x 7 1/4." Rare, the only we have seen.
