LOUIS, JOE-BILLY CONN I WIRE PHOTO (1941)

Joe Louis fought Billy Conn on June 18, 1941 in New York City. Louis knocked Conn out in the 13th round to retain his World Heavyweight Title. Presented here is an antique wire photo from this bout.
This antique wire photo of the first Louis-Conn bout is 7" x 9." There are creases in the corners and along the edges. The lower left corner is torn and there is a small rip along the bottom edge. There is some light soiling along the bottom edge.
