MARCIANO, ROCKY-ROLAND LASTARZA ORIGINAL PHOTO (1953)

On September 24,1953 Rocky Marciano defended his World Heavyweight Title against Roland LaStarza. This was the second time these two men had fought.Marciano would retain his title with a 11th round TKO over the game, but overmatched LaStarza. The fight was held at the Polo Grounds in New York. Offered here is an original photo depicting Marciano battering LaStarza in the corner.
