HISTORY: On February 27, 1961 at the St. Nicholas Arena in New York welterweights Garnet "Sugar" Hart and Ted Wright (a replacement for Chico Vejar) fought in the featured match. Wright prevailed stopping Hart in the 9th round. This was Hart's last professional fight. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, cardboard, on site poster naming and picturing Hart and Vejar. Poster is soiled. Edge and surface wear with a few closed tears on edges.. Three corners are clipped with some cardboard loss. No center crease. 22" x 28."
