RESTO, LUIS-ADOLPHO VIRUET ON SITE POSTER (1980)

On March 28, 1980 at the Felt Forum in New York rising welterweights Luis Resto and Adolpho Viruet fought in the main event. After ten rounds the fight was declared a draw. Three years later Resto and his trainer Panama Lewis would be banned for life for altering his gloves in a fight against Billy Collins, Jr. Resto would serve 2 1/2 years in jail for assault.
