On December 4,1961 Floyd Patterson met Tom McNeeley for the Heavyweight Title.Patterson would win the bout by KO in the 4th round. On the same date in the Convention Center in Philadelphia leading heavyweight contender Sonny Liston would knock out Albert Westphal in one round. Offered here is a vintage closed circuit poster from these two events.
This is a cardboard poster picturing all four fighters. This was from the State Theatre in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The poster has no creases, rips or tears. There is some edge and corner wear. There is a water stain on the lower right and lower center areas. Images are sharp as is the lettering. Very little fading. 14" x 22."
