HISTORY: On September 20, 1989 at the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester, New York IBF welterweight champion Simon Brown defended his title against Bobby Joe Young in the main event. Brown stopped Young in the second round. Young was knocked down once in the 2nd. He got up and was battered by Brown until the fight was stopped by the referee.
