HISTORY: On January 16, 2016 at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, UNited Kingdom former world heavyweight champion David Haye fought Mark De Mori in the featured bout. Hayestopped De Mori in the first round. Ex-heavyweight champion Haye, heaviest in his career, returned after three years and reentered the BoxRec top ten worldwide ranking of heavyweights. Haye looking for a world title bout next with Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Charles Martin, Ruslan Chagaev and Luis Ortiz. Haye returns, walks down De Mori, and responds to a taunt challenge with overhand power shots which finished De Mori in a corner on the ropes. De Mori, it should be pointed out, had stopped moving in the corner, and let Haye tee off on him while standing in front of 'the Haymaker', which would spell knockout for any shorter fighter standing in front of the tall Haye. Given De Mori's ring posture unmoving in front of Haye just before this bout ended, not a surprise. In doing so, Haye took De Mori's 'incredible' 30-1-2 record with 26 knockouts to the cleaners. The bout averaged 1.35 million viewers on the television network Dave.
