On August 5, 1941 at Long Island City in New York rising middleweight star Jake LaMotta fought Joe Shikula in a scheduled six round bout. The two fought to a draw. Also on the show future champion Chalky Wright stopped Paco Villa in the 6th round of a scheduled 8 round contest. Offered here is an extremely rare bout sheet program from this event.
