On August 10, 1945 middleweights Jake LaMotta and Jose Basora fought an important divional match at Madison Square Garden in New York in the main event. LaMotta continued his progress toward a title shot stopping Basora in the 9th round in front of 14, 907 fans. On the undercrad brother Joey LaMotta won a six round decision over Billy Johnson. Offered here is a scarce official program to this event.
