LOUIS, JOE-PRIMO CARNERA OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1935)

On June 25, 1935 former World Heavyweight Champion Primo Carnera and rising star Joe Louis squared off at Yankee Stadium in New York in a scheduled 15 round affair. This fight was completely one sided and Louis battered the almost helpless Carnera from start to finish finally ending it mercifully in the 6th round. Presented here is the official program to this event.
The program features an artwork cover by W. Kumme. Twelve pages in nice condition. The scorepage has been neatly scored in pencil. Good tight binding. No center crease. Some light soiling of the covers. Overall a fine specimen. 8 1/2" x 11".
