At the XV Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland future heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson won a gold medal as a middleweight by knockout in the first round over Vasile Tita of Romania. Future heavyweight champion Ingemar Johansson won a silver medal losing in the heavyweight finals to Ed Sanders by disqualification in the 2nd round of the finals. Future featherweight champion Davey Moore lost his bid for a medal as a bantamweight bowing out in the third round of matches. Offered here is a rare, official, boxing program from the 1952 Olympic Games.
