On December 14, 1942 at Covention Hall in Philadelphia undefeated welterweight star Sugar Ray Robinson fought Al Nettlow in the main event. Robinson stopped Nettlow in the third round. The paid attendance was 7,868 and promoter Herman Taylor donated the profit from this card to the USO. Offered here is a rare program from this event.
