On June 5, 1950 at Municipal Stadium in Philadelphia middleweights Sugar Ray Robinson and Frenchman Robert Villemain battled for the Pennsylvania version of the world middleweight title. Robinson won a unanimous 15 round decision. The official round-by-round scoring, all in favor of Robinson, was 12-3, 12-3, and 10-5. Villemain was down for a two-count in round 12. The undercard included rising Philadelphia stars Johnny Saxton and George Benton. Offered here is a rare, original, souvenir program to this event.
