HISTORY: On January 8, 1981 at the Ohio Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio lightweights Willie "Fireball" Rodriguez and Manning Galloway fought in the featured bout. Rodriguez won a 12 round unanimous decision. Also on the show lightweight Bobby Sparks won a close split 6 round decision over Darrell Green.
