On April 21, 1970 at Royal Albert Hall in London, England Alan Rudkin and Johnny Clark fought for the vacant British Commonwealth Bantamweight title. Rudkin stopped Clark in the 12th round to win the title. On the undercard heavyweight Joe Bugner won an 8 round decision over Ray Patterson.
