HISTORY: On September 3, 1955 at Rand Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa Willie Toweel and Robert Cohen fought for the world bantamweight title. After 15 rounds the fight was declared a draw. Toweel was floored four times in this bout--he was knocked down three times in the second round, twice for counts of three, and once for a no count. Toweel was floored once more for a short count in the tenth round. Offered here is a rare, original, official program to this event.
